Giving Birth:
The 4 Stages of Labour

This module will guide you through the special time of giving birth, breaking it down into the four stages of labour. You'll gain an understanding of what to expect and how you might feel during each stage, including insights into fetal monitoring. The module also provides essential tips for partners and support people on how they can best help and discusses the precious "golden hour" immediately after birth. This journey is designed to empower you with knowledge and confidence for one of life's most profound experiences.

Four stages of labour including: what happens during each phase, how you might feel, and how you can be supported
How 6 essential factors of labour (6 P’s) work together to help your labour move forward to birth and ways to support your labour progress
Fetal monitoring, including how your health care team checks on your baby’s well being during labour
What to expect during and right after the birth of your baby, including cord clamping
The "Golden Hour" after birth
